With these<br>methods, you\u2019ll likely be placing the \u201cRending\/Individual\u201d Taxonomy in Box 24j (Shaded), and\/or the \u201cPractice\/Group\u201d Taxonomy in 33b. The requirements can vary from payer to payer, so please check with your payer for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To populate Box 24j (Shaded), you will need to utilize the \u201cProvider IDs\u201d tab for each Provider you\u2019ll be billing claims for. Go to Lists, then Providers. If you need to send it just for a certain insurance, select and Edit that line. If you do not see an \u201cAll\/All\/All\u201d line, or one for the specific insurance you need to send it to, you can click New to make an entry.<br><br>Select Legacy Identifier 1, and enter the Rendering\/Individual Taxonomy Code. Click in the field to the right to enter the qualifier &#8220;ZZ\u201d (without quotation marks), this will populate Box 24i (Shaded). If you need to send it just for a certain insurance, select and Edit that line. Click in the field to the right to enter the qualifier &#8220;ZZ\u201d (without quotation marks), this will populate Box 33b. Go to Lists, then Providers. Select a provider, then go to the Provider IDs tab.<br><br>Edit the \u201cAll\/All\/All\u201d line, a specific Insurance line, or add a new line as needed\u2026 the difference being; Use the \u201cTaxonomy\u201d field instead of the \u201cLegacy Identifier 1\u201d field. Note; If set to \u201cIndividual\u201d, this will override practice settings.
