Fee Schedules in Lytec allow you to associate\ndifferent charge \/ allowed amount \/ co-pay \/ write-off values for different transaction\ncodes and insurance carriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp; <strong>Fee Schedules<\/strong> are linked to <strong>Insurance Companies<\/strong> through a <strong>Fee Schedule Type<\/strong>,\nwe will look at each of these elements in a moment.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp; Enter a <strong>Fee Schedule Type Code<\/strong>, such as <strong>MCR<\/strong>, <strong>MCARE<\/strong>,\nor <strong>MEDICARE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.&nbsp; Also enter a <strong>Name<\/strong>, like <strong>Medicare<\/strong> or <strong>Medicare Part B<\/strong>.&nbsp; You do not have to use the values listed\nhere, these are just examples, as long as you know what the codes and names\nmean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.&nbsp; Click <strong>Save<\/strong> when Finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.&nbsp; Back at the main menu, click <strong>Lists<\/strong>,\nthen <strong>Standard\nLists<\/strong>, mouse-hover over <strong>Fee <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedules<\/strong>, then click <strong>Fee Schedules<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.&nbsp; Enter a <strong>Fee Schedule Code<\/strong>, such as <strong>MCR<\/strong>, <strong>MCARE<\/strong>, or <strong>MEDICARE<\/strong> (<em>you can use <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>the same codes as the Fee Schedule Type\nCodes mentioned above, and again these are just examples<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.&nbsp; The <strong>Conversion Factor<\/strong> is determined by the insurance carrier.&nbsp; This field indicates how many dollars are\nequal to one RVU for the year&#8217;s fee schedule, as designated by the insurance\ncompany.&nbsp;
